As we welcome the new year, we would like to share some of the goals we have set for ourselves here at VetsinTech. This year we hope to build on past successes and continue to deliver on our goals to support veterans and military spouses in the areas of employment, education, engagement, and entrepreneurship. Here is some of what we hope to accomplish this year:

• One of our goals this year is to train 500 Veterans in the area of CyberSecurity.
• Continue to deliver quality events aimed at our community starting with the VetsInTech Invasion (March 31) as well as regional in-person events throughout the year.
• Continue our policy work and work with partners to draw attention and solutions to the problems facing veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs.
• Continue to grow the VetsinTech Employer Coalition which currently has over 35 technology companies so that we can better meet the employment needs of veterans and military spouses.

Ten years ago, Katherine Webster with the help of Craig Newmark, started VetsinTech with a vision of connecting veterans and military spouses with the tech ecosystem and providing them with the employment and entrepreneurship opportunities they deserve. Over the years, the organization has grown to include veteran-led chapters across the U.S. and to support our community of over 70,000 veterans and military spouses. This thriving community that is helping veterans and military spouses with tech jobs and opportunities has been recognized by the White House and Department of Labor for its innovation and leadership in creating new programs in entrepreneurship, employment, and education.
